A big part of the VR training course you provide to your trainees are the 360˚ videos. Each scenario consists of multiple scenes. Each scene consist of one 360˚ video clip.

Uploading and transcoding
Go to the 'Media' page. Select the scenario you want to upload the videos too. Either drag and drop the videos on the page or click on the red "Upload Media" icon on the top right of the page. Here you can select your (multiple) video file(s). While uploading, you see a percentage that indicates the uploading progress. You cannot leave the page during uploading because it will cancel the process. After uploading, it takes a few minutes to transcode the video into different formats. That's why you won't see a thumb previewing the video directly after the upload.

After uploading all your videos and during processing, you can start with linking the videos to scenes, change videos names or leaving the page. We transcode the video into several formats optimized for playback on web, mobile and Oculus. Please read this article if you need to know more about the Warp Studio Transcoding process.

Supported formats

We support MP4 containers with H.264 or H.265 encoded video. For monoscopic video the aspect ratio should be 2:1 equirectangular. For stereoscopic we expect a top-bottom orientation (1:1 aspect ratio). Read more about our recommendations here.

If you encounter problems while uploading or transcoding your video, please contact us.
